All individuals attending the 2023 SEM Annual Conference must pay a registration fee. Specific SEM awardees and keynote speakers may be exempt from paying registration fees. If you have questions, please contact registration@sem.org
Your registration includes:
- 350+ 20-minute technical presentations
- Downloadable conference submissions (available for 30 days after the conference)
- Full access to the Whova App
- Full access to the Exhibit Hall
- Welcome Reception on Sunday, June 4th
- President’s Reception on Tuesday, June 6th
- One ticket to the Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, February 7th

If you are having trouble logging into your account, please contact membership@sem.org. Do not create a new/duplicate account; you can only have one account in our system.
Please note:
- All registrations must be in the name of the person attending the conference.
- Registrations cannot be transferred to another attendee.
- All registration fees must be paid in full prior to the conference. If registering with a Purchase Order (PO), payment must be received prior to the start of conference.

Regular Rates effective 5/1/23 at 5:00 PM UNTIL - 5/22/23 at 4:59 PM EST
Late Rates effective as of 5/22/23 at 5:00 PM EST
Credit Card Payment:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. All credit card payments must be processed online through your profile account at sem.org. Please use the appropriate credit card for each transaction—no changes may be made once the transaction is processed.
Purchase Order/Invoice Payment:
All Purchase Order/Invoice options must be received by May 1, 2023. SEM will not accept Purchase Order/Invoice as a payment after May 1, 2023; only credit cards will be accepted after this date, with no exceptions. All registrations paying by Invoice must submit a purchase order to registration@sem.org.
SEM/IMAC will accept wire payments only from individuals and organizations outside the United States when a secure credit card payment is not possible.

If you need to cancel a registration, your request must be submitted in writing to SEM by May 1, 2023. A full refund of the registration fee, less a $75 administrative fee, will be granted for all written cancellation requests received by May 1, 2023; send your written request to Shari Matthews at shari@sem.org. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after May 1, 2023. There are no refunds for no-shows.
Currently, SEM is not offering group registration discounts.
