Assistant Professor (tenure-track):
Michigan Technological University’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for multiple tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. Applicants for the position are required to have earned doctorates in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field. All research areas are of interest, including space robotics, controls with aerospace applications, hypersonics, experimental mechanics, aircraft and ground vehicle electric propulsion, aerospace systems engineering, spacecraft thermal systems, NVH, and more.

Assistant Teaching Professor (instructional-track):
Michigan Technological University’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for an instructional track Assistant Teaching Professor position. We seek candidates with expertise in mechanical and aerospace engineering in controls, systems engineering, aeronautical and astronautical technologies, as well as general knowledge in mechanical and aerospace engineering topics. This candidate will be expected to help with advising industry-funded senior design projects.
